This is the website of E L James, the author of the Fifty Shades Trilogy and other novels.
When you use the website or sign up to newsletter emails from E L James, Fifty Shades Limited and Erika James Limited are the “data controller”. The website www.eljamesauthor.com and E L James’ newsletter were created to keep fans of E L James’ books and movie adaptations up-to-date with the latest news. We use MailerLite which is based in Lithuania to collect and store the email addresses of subscribers to the newsletter and to deliver the newsletter updates to our subscribers’ email inboxes.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.
